The easiest way to see two classic Himachal stops in one trip. You start in Manali, take a day out to the snow side of the Atal Tunnel, and then follow the Beas down to Naggar and the Parvati valley, ending with riverside walks around Kasol and the hot springs at Manikaran.

A slow day on the river: walk to Chalal through the forest, visit the hot springs at Manikaran and spend the evening in Kasol.
Morning at leisure in Kasol, then a transfer towards Bhuntar for onward travel.
