About This Stay

The classic igloo night. You drive up on the snow, walk through the forest to the camp, spend the afternoon in the snow and the evening around a bonfire, and then sleep inside a real snow igloo.

This is the stay to pick if the night itself is the point: a warm bed, a quiet camp and a morning that starts in the snow.

How It Goes

  1. 1
    Day 1, morning

Meet at the pick-up point on the Manali-Naggar road for a short briefing, paperwork and snow-gear fitting.

  2. 2
    Day 1, late morning

A snow drive of about an hour in a 4x4 to the Sethan side, then a walk of about 30 minutes through the forest to the camp.

  3. 3
    Day 1, afternoon

A welcome hot drink, then guided snow activities such as tube sliding and a snow walk, with lunch in between.

  4. 4
    Day 1, evening

Bonfire, music and dinner, then a short briefing on how to use the sleeping bags before bed.

  5. 5
    Night

Settle into your igloo with a sleeping bag, a thick mattress and a hot-water bottle.

  6. 6
    Day 2, morning

Hot drink and breakfast, then the uphill walk of about 30 to 40 minutes back to the vehicle and the drive to base.

Timings are approximate and depend on snow and weather. We confirm the exact plan and pick-up point when you book.

Good to Know

When is the igloo stay open?

December, January and February only, depending on snowfall. Tell us your dates and we will confirm what is possible.

How do we get there?

You meet at a pick-up point on the Manali-Naggar road, then take a snow drive of about an hour in a 4x4 and a forest walk of around 30 minutes. The exact meeting point is shared on booking.

What if the snow or weather is not good?

Snow activities and the road depend on snowfall and weather. Heavy snow can block the road for a few days, so we agree dates carefully and discuss options with you if conditions change.

Who shares the igloo?

Stays are usually booked per couple, on a double-sharing basis. Tell us your group when you book and we will arrange the igloos.

How do I book?

Send a booking request on the booking page. It goes to us on WhatsApp, and your stay is confirmed once we reply. There is no online payment.
