About This Stay

The same snow igloo night, built around the activities. After the snow drive and forest walk you get a guide briefing and a full afternoon on the snow: skiing or tube sliding, a snow trek and games.

Then comes the bonfire, dinner and a night in the igloo. Pick this one if you want to be on the snow as much as possible.

How It Goes

  1. 1
    Day 1, morning

Meet at the pick-up point on the Manali-Naggar road for a briefing, paperwork and snow-gear fitting.

  2. 2
    Day 1, late morning

About an hour on the snow drive in a 4x4, then roughly 30 minutes on foot through the forest to the camp.

  3. 3
    On arrival

A hot drink and snacks, then a guide briefing on skiing, tube sliding and the other snow activities.

  4. 4
    Day 1, afternoon

Your active block: ski or tube-slide, take a guided snow trek and play on the snow, with a hot lunch in between.

  5. 5
    Day 1, evening

Bonfire with music and dinner, then the sleeping-bag briefing before you settle into the igloo.

  6. 6
    Day 2, morning

Hot drink and breakfast in the dining area, then the uphill walk back to the vehicle point and the drive to base.

Good to Know

When is the igloo stay open?

December, January and February only, depending on snowfall. Tell us your dates and we will confirm what is possible.

How do we get there?

You meet at a pick-up point on the Manali-Naggar road, then take a snow drive of about an hour in a 4x4 and a forest walk of around 30 minutes. The exact meeting point is shared on booking.

What if the snow or weather is not good?

Snow activities and the road depend on snowfall and weather. Heavy snow can block the road for a few days, so we agree dates carefully and discuss options with you if conditions change.

Do I need experience or special fitness?

No experience is needed and guides brief you before each activity. The walk in is about 30 minutes and the walk out is an uphill 30 to 40 minutes, so be comfortable walking in snow. Tell us about any health concerns when you enquire.

How do I book?

Send a booking request on the booking page. It goes to us on WhatsApp, and your stay is confirmed once we reply. There is no online payment.
